The Riviera Hotel Bournemouth
Located in a quiet street just a short walk from the beach, the Riviera Hotel is positioned in a tranquil cliff top location with beautiful sea views. All 67 comfortable bedrooms are equipped with a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The informal restaurant has lovely sea views and the bar is open plan with a dance/entertainment area. Leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi and gym. Lift
Day 1
We travel south, stops will be made en-route for coffee and lunch. On arrival at the Riviera hotel in Bournemouth we have a welcome tea/coffee whilst our cases are taken to the rooms. Dinner tonight is followed by live entertainment. 50% of selected house drinks in the bar.
DDay 2
A morning visit to the magnificent cathedral city of Salisbury, with its historic charter market, we return to Bournemouth after lunch for some time at leisure in this lovely seaside resort. A Dorset cream tea is served in the hotel. Dinner tonight is followed by live entertainment. 50% of selected house drinks in the bar
B, DDay 3
A full day tour of the New Forest calling first at the picturesque village of Burley, with its connections to witchcraft and smuggling before continuing to Lyndhurst, the self styled capital of the New Forest. We return to the Riviera hotel for dinner and entertainment. 50% of selected house drinks in the bar
B, DDay 4
This morning we visit Poole, one of the world's largest natural harbours. We then head to the Isle of Purbeck, passing the magnificent ruin of Corfe Castle on our way to Swanage . We return to Bournemouth and our final dinner, again followed by live entertainment. 50% of selected house drinks in the bar.
B, DDay 5
We leave our hosts at the Riviera hotel for the return journey home.
