Cotswolds and the Evesham Blossom Trail

Day 1

A morning departure as we head south to the beautiful spa town of Cheltenham. The town is renowned for its Regency architecture, stylish shopping, colourful parks and floral displays, enjoy lunch at leisure in one of the town's many fine restaurants. We leave late afternoon for the short journey to our hotel the Delta by Marriott Cheltenham Chase Dinner in the hotel.

Day 2

This morning we head to Stratford-upon-Avon, this historic market town is most famously known as the birthplace of William Shakespeare, time at leisure to explore the town. In the afternoon we have an include boat tip on the River Avon aboard the Countess of Evesham, enjoy an afternoon as we cruise along the river. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3

Today we will we meet our local guide in Evesham for a 3 hour tour of the fabulous Blossom Trail. We start at the tiny town of Pershore, famous for the Pershore Yellow Egg Plum, before continuing through Fladbury & the Lenches. In the afternoon we return to Cheltenham through the picturesque Cotswolds including Stow on the Wold. Dinner in the hotel

Day 4

This morning we head to the medieval town of Tewkesbury with its picturesque riverside setting. Take a stroll along Church Street, lined with a half-timbered houses and punctuated with Tewkesbury’s famous alleyways or visit the beautiful 12th century Norman-built Tewkesbury Abbey. In the afternoon we visit the beautiful city of Gloucester, view the glorious medieval Cathedral or alternatively visit the Victorian docks and explore the award winning Gloucester Waterways Museum overlooking the River Severn. Final dinner in the hotel.

Day 5

After breakfast we make our way home.
