Christmas at Blenheim, Kew Gardens & Winchester

Day 1

A morning departure as we travel south , arriving at our hotel the Hilton Reading mid afternoon. We have an early dinner before we head to Kew Gardens, Christmas at Kew is the popular after dark Christmas event that offers a fantastic display of more than a million led lights set around the garden, some accompanied by festive music to get you in the spirit of Christmas. You'll wind your way through a magical lit-up landscape-passing through glowing arches, lakeside reflections, towering floral sculptures, and breathtaking projections on Kew's historic botanical glasshouses. We return to our hotel Late evening.

Day 2

After breakfast we journey north to the magnificent Blenheim Palace, famous birthplace of Winston Churchill. Explore the exquisitely festive, fairytale-themed palace interior featuring a gigantic Christmas tree in the great hall. Outside in the Great Courtyard soak up the festive atmosphere of a Christmas market with over local 70 traders offering a variety of artisan goods. Dinner on our return to the hotel.

Day 3

After breakfast, we drive to historic Winchester and the Christmas Market. The Cathedral Inner Close is transformed with more than 90 beautifully decorated wooden chalets selling a wide range of gifts. The market features festive food, a crafts village and a nativity scene. Dinner in the hotel.

Day 4

We depart after breakfast for the return journey home.
