This area was designated as a national park in 1954, its beautiful rolling countryside, amazing wildlife, rich cultural heritage make the Yorkshire Dales a very special place and covers an area of 680 square miles. The Dales are made up of some very familiar names such as Settle, Ribblehead Viaduct, Hawes and Leyburn. A great destination offering something for everyone whether it is fascinating history, shopping or magical landscapes.
