The Derwent Hotel
Located just 500 metres from Torquay Seafront, the Derwent hotel offers a full programme of day time activities which includes short mat bowls, skittles, tea dances, quizzes, competitions and bingo to name just a few, plus the Starlight Lounge is the centre for fabulous night time entertainment and live music. All en suite bedrooms feature satellite television, Wi-Fi, telephone, radio and tea / coffee making facilities. Leisure club with indoor swimming pool and most rooms are accessible by the lift.
Day 1
A morning departure for the journey south to Torquay . Dinner in the hotel, followed by entertainment and complimentary bar.
DDay 2
A day at leisure to explore Torquay or enjoy the daytime activities at the hotel. Dinner in the hotel, followed by entertainment and complimentary bar.
B, DDay 3
Following breakfast we head along the coast to Paignton, a classic Devon coastal town with a long sandy beach, a colourful promenade and pier, we continue onto Brixham, a charming fishing town, best known for its bustling harbour and a rich maritime heritage. Dinner in the hotel, followed by entertainment and complimentary bar.
B, DDay 4
Our first visit today is to Teignmouth a charming seaside town located at the mouth of the River Teign. It offers a wonderful mix of coastal scenery and Georgian architecture. We then continue on to the cathedral city of Exeter, where we spend the afternoon before returning to the Derwent hotel and our final night. Dinner is followed by entertainment and complimentary bar.
Day 5
We leave Torquay after breakfast for our journey home.
