Make it a truly royal occasion with a visit to our nation’s capital and the magnificent Buckingham Palace, the official London residence of His Majesty The King. Our experience also includes a fascinating visit to the Royal Mews, home to the historic royal carriages and coaches, plus a visit to Kensington Palace, which has been home to generations of the Royal Family. To complete our regal experience, enjoy a sumptuous afternoon tea in the elegant Orangery.

Day 1

A morning departure as we head south to London, we then have the day at leisure to explore, the highlights of the capital from the sights of Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus to the famous shops of Knightsbridge and Oxford Street or perhaps visit some of London's many free museums. We leave late afternoon for the short journey to our hotel , the Holiday Inn Bath Road at Heathrow. Dinner in the hotel. Evening at leisure.

Day 2

After breakfast in the hotel we make our way to the Royal Mews, home to the historic royal carriages and coaches, the most dazzling of all being the Gold State Coach, which has been used at every coronation since George IV in 1821. Our next stop is Buckingham Palace where we have the afternoon to explore the magnificent 19 State Rooms used for ceremonial occasions and official entertaining. Dinner at the hotel tonight.

Day 3

Following breakfast we check out of our hotel and head to Kensington Palace. There is something quite special about this beautiful palace. Queen Victoria was born and spent her childhood here and in recent years it has been home to many royals including Princess Margaret, Princess Diana and the Prince and Princess of Wales. Explore the magnificent State Rooms, view the special exhibitions and take a stroll around the famous sunken garden. We finish by having an indulgent afternoon tea in The Orangery before we begin our journey home.
