Looe a Traditional Cornish Gem

Portbyhan Hotel
Situated on the quayside overlooking the harbour, this award winning hotel offers excellent accommodation with all the en suite rooms having hairdryer, tv and hospitality tray. The harbour view restaurant has a fine reputation for its food with holidaymakers and locals, using the freshest of local ingredients. Regular entertainment in the lounge. Lift. Day 1
We leave in the morning for the journey south into Cornwall and then on to Looe and our hotel The Portbyhan, a cream tea is served on arrival before we settle into our rooms, Dinner in the hotel tonight.
Day 2
A day at leisure in Looe, Dinner at the Portbyhan.
B, DDay 3
Today we visit the vibrant waterfront city of Plymouth, wander the Barbican’s quaint cobbled quayside with its array of specialist shops, restaurants and cafés or visit Plymouth Hoe where Sir Francis Drake had his legendary game of bowls. Dinner on our return to the Portbyhan Hotel.
Day 4
A Coast to Coast tour today, as we head via Bodmin and Wadebridge to Padstow on the Camel Estuary, time for lunch in this popular seaside resort, with its bustling narrow streets and quaint harbour. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 5
A day at leisure in Looe, Dinner at the Portbyhan.
B, DDay 6
After breakfast we head to Cornwall's only city Truro, dominated by its splendid cathedral. Take time to visit the local market, wide variety of independent shops or the Royal Cornwall Museum, which has been showcasing the region's heritage for over 200 years. Dinner at the hotel.
B, DDay 7
A morning visit to Polperro. This traditional Cornish fishing village enjoys traffic free narrow winding streets and lanes, tiny fisherman's cottages, a picturesque harbour along with interesting shops, cafes and restaurants. Afternoon free to explore our charming resort of Looe. Dinner and entertainment in the hotel tonight.
B, DDay 8
We leave our hosts at the Portbyhan Hotel in Looe for the return journey home.
