A city steeped in history, culture and attractions, Liverpool is one of the most popular city break destinations in the UK and makes a great destination for a coach break. You’ll never be short of things to do, explore the Albert Dock, an area that has been renovated and rejuvenated over the years. Museum lovers can enjoy the Tate Liverpool Gallery and the Merseyside Maritime Museum. Or if you prefer a relaxing break, Liverpool has lots of scenic parks to take a stroll or sit and enjoy a cup of coffee.
Aloft Hotel
The Aloft Liverpool occupies the stunning, elegant, former Royal Insurance Building, which was converted into this modern and contemporary 4 star city hotel. Still retaining many of its original features, the hotel is less than 10 minutes' walk to the Liverpool One shopping centre and 15 minutes' walk to the historic Albert Dock. All bedrooms are to a high standard and well equipped with a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities in each room, and all have a walk-in shower. The large modern restaurant and bar boasts huge ceilings and lots of natural daylight and is a perfect space for socialising and enjoying a drink.
Day 1
We travel to Liverpool and check in to our hotel. The remainder of the day is free to enjoy at your leisure.
Day 2
Free day at leisure. You’ll never be short of things to do in Liverpool, whatever your interests. Beatles fans might want to take the Magical Mystery Tour which is a coach tour of all of the famous Beatles
landmarks including Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields. Museum lovers will enjoy the Tate Liverpool Gallery and the Merseyside Maritime Museum. Or if you prefer a relaxing break, Liverpool has lots of scenic parks and the Albert Dock is a lovely place to sit with a coffee and watch the ships come in.
Day 3
After a final breakfast at the hotel enjoy another free day in Liverpool. Our coach will depart at 16:00hrs to begin the journey home.
