Hotel Le Soleil
This stylish, modern 4 star hotel is located in the heart of Lido di Jesolo overlooking the beach. All 174 air-conditioned en suite bedrooms are stylishly decorated and each is equipped with a balcony, hairdryer and TV. The bar area is extremely spacious with sea views and there are several lounges in which to relax. The hotel boasts an outdoor swimming pool and decking that extends onto a private beach, providing direct access to the sea and beautiful, unrestricted views. Lift.
Day 1
An early hours departure as we travel south to Dover and a morning ferry crossing to Calais, before heading south via Reims and Metz to our overnight hotel the Intercity at Karlsruhe. Time to relax before our evening meal in the hotel.
Day 2
After breakfast our journey continues south through Germany , into Austria and Innsbruck before for an overnight stay at the Bon Alpina hotel. Dinner in the hotel.
B, DDay 3
A leisurely drive for the final leg of the journey as we head over the Brenner Pass and on past Bolzano and Trento towards Venice and then Lido Di Jesolo, arriving at the Hotel Le Soleil late afternoon. Dinner in the hotel
B, DDay 4
A day at leisure to explore the wonderful resort of Lido di Jesolo with its stunning beach, parade of pizzerias, trendy bars and shops. Dinner in the hotel.
Day 5
A morning visit to Treviso, full of elegant piazza's, cobbled streets, and Italian charm. We then head to the magnificent Castel Brando, accessed by a spectacular funicular, we visit this stunning, privately owned castle and enjoy a pizza lunch with a glass of prosecco. Dinner in the hotel.
B, DDay 6
We enjoy a morning visit to Peschiera del Garda, a lovely little town on the southeastern shores of Italy's largest and perhaps most beautiful lake. We have time to explore and enjoy a relaxing lunch before we head to Verona, city of Romeo and Juliet, to admire the fantastic Roman amphitheatre and elegant shops. Dinner in the hotel.
B, DDay 7
A short coach drive to Punta Sabbioni where we board a boat for the 45 minute journey across the lagoon to Venice. This is by far the best way to arrive and gets you to the heart of this beautiful city. Admire the Rialto Bridge, St. Mark's Square , bustling piazzas and of course, the canals. Perhaps take a gondola trip, sample some local food and Ice Cream or visit one of the many museums. Dinner on our return to the hotel.
B, DDay 8
We leave our hosts and return back through Northern Italy to Innsbruck and an overnight stay at the Bon Alpina Hotel Igls. Dinner in the hotel.
B, DDay 9
We continue North, heading over the Fussen Pass into Germany, on our way to Karlsruhe and the Intercity hotel. Dinner in the hotel.
B, DDay 10
We leave after breakfast and head direct to Calais and an early afternoon sailing to Dover. From Dover we are homeward bound.
