Dusseldorf and Aachen Christmas Markets

Welcome to our special four-day break to the Düsseldorf and Aachen Christmas markets. With endless stalls offering local delicacies and thousands of bargains in a majestic setting, experience the most famous German markets during this unmissable break!

With endless stalls offering local delicacies and thousands of bargains in a majestic setting, experience the most famous German markets during this unmissable break!
Mercure Hotel Dusseldorf Neuss, Germany
The 4-star Mercure Hotel Düsseldorf Neuss has modern rooms with satellite TV, Wi-Fi and private bathrooms. Düsseldorf’s airport and Messe exhibition center are a 20-minute drive away. A varied breakfast buffet is available at the Mercure Neuss. Food from the Rhine-Ruhr region and international cuisine is served in the Salinum restaurant with terrace.
Day 1
Depart the local area and travel to Dover for our ferry crossing to Calais. We continue to the Mercure Hotel Dusseldorf Neuss for our 3-night stay.
Day 2
We spend the day exploring Dusseldorf and the cities fantastic Christmas Markets. Dusseldorf is the capital city of the north Rhine. Set around the old town, there are around 10 markets to discover each offering a truly traditional festive atmosphere. Lots of international delicacies, the mulled wine or baked apple punch and artisan and Christmas gifts.
Day 3
We travel to the delightful Aachen Christmas Market with stalls lining the squares and lanes around the UNESCO protected Aachen Cathedral and Town Hall. We then explore the Christmas market set in the grounds of the beautiful Merode Castle, and enchanting festive experience.
Day 4
Return journey home.
