Mix history and pleasure in this delightful concoction of a mini break that combines a day out at Warwick Castle with the chocolate treat that is Cadbury World. Discover the magic of Cadbury World, with 14 themed zones exploring the history of cocoa and its journey to Europe. At Warwick Castle take a tour through the grand interiors and the lavish state rooms. The castle hosts a series of shows during the day including Birds of Prey. For a more relaxing approach take a stroll through the pretty gardens that surround the castle.
Hilton Warwick Hotel
We stay at the Hilton Warwick/Stratford-upon-Avon in Longbridge, you’ll be convenient to Warwick Racecourse and Warwick Castle. Make yourself at home in one of the 181 air-conditioned rooms featuring LCD televisions.
Day 1
We depart the local area and travel to Cadbury World at Bournville near Birmingham. Discover the Cadbury ‘magic’ with a gentle ride on a ‘Beanmobile’, or take the 4D Chocolate Adventure, an interactive ride that sees you dive into a bowl of liquid Cadbury Dairy Milk, then take to the skies in a Cadbury Creme Egg airship piloted by the Caramel Bunny. And yes, you get to sample the product. We will arrive at our hotel with free time before your evening meal.
DDay 2
Today is a full day excursion to Warwick Castle. One of the UK’s leading visitor attractions, Warwick Castle offers a remarkable choice of things to do. Take a tour through the beautiful grand interiors to see the magnificent Great Hall and the lavish state rooms. There are several shows during the day, including jousting, birds of prey, and the Mighty Trebuchet, a colossal catapult and the largest working siege machine in the world.
B, DDay 3
After breakfast at the hotel we begin the return journey home with a stop-off in Stratford-upon-Avon.
